We were excited when we saw a Mexican steakhouse near our home. However, we were disappointed after receiving our food. I ordered the Tabla de Carne Asada/Sirloin cooked medium, which came with two quesadillas, a side of beans, and a side of cooked onions. The quesadillas and beans were hot, but the sirloin was cool, not even warm. I told the server that the steak was cold, and they said they would take it back and fix it. All they did was put it back on the grill, which cooked it even more, and I had asked for medium. When they brought it back, my steak was almost, I mentioned that to them, so they took it back...
We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED ! The waiter was NOT specific when we asked about the menu… the fajita ordered was $35 but by the time it we got the bill, it was $95.00, I was shock !THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME AND OUR LAST . If you want your eyes poked out of your head - go there -we will never go back. VERY EXPENSIVE FAJITAS!. A la cart 😡. I only gave this restaurant 1 star because I couldn’t rate them any lower. 😡
Recommended by another local, I hosted a business dinner here on a Friday evening. Nice location tucked away in Castle Hills. Promptly seated upon arrival with reservation. Service was great throughout the meal. Drinks were a little slow to come out, but we’ll crafted cocktails. Appetizers were good, nice array of salsas, and the steaks were great! Decent cuts, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked as ordered. Will definitely be returning.
Visited in May 2022 for a graduation dinner with 15 other friends. Service was quick to take our drink orders, suggest appetizers and answer any questions we had about menu items. We ordered a few of the 32oz Mojitos during Happy Hour & were able to split those amongst multiple people. Appetizers were fresh, tasty and helped to quell the time it takes to perfectly slow grill the carne asadas. We ordered a few pounds of ribeye and sirloin to share family style. The grilled onions and tortillas were the perfect compliment to the meat, and made excellent steak tacos!
